The F5/F5A is the Copersucar model from the 1977, 1978 and 1979 Formula 1 seasons. Driver: Emerson Fittipaldi. The F5A was the model that achieved the best results for the team, scoring a total of 17 points. The F5A was the team's first car to use ground effect (the F5 did not have it) and obtained the best placement of the Brazilian team, 2nd place in the 1978 Brazilian GP, held at the Jacarepagua circuit (debut on the calendar), Rio de Janeiro.
