The M7A, M7B, M7C and M7D were the McLaren models of the 1968, 1969, 1970 and part of the 1971 F1 seasons. It was driven by Bruce McLaren, Denny Hulme and Dan Gurney. Designed by Robin Herd and Gordon Coppuck, the M7A was the first McLaren to be powered by the Cosworth DFV engine, which went on to be used by the team until 1983
