Siouxsie and the Banshees were an English rock band formed in London in 1976 by Siouxsie Sioux (vocals) and Steven Severin (bassist). The group was considered one of the pioneers of post-punk. Their music evolved constantly over their twenty-year existence. The band broke up in 1996. Among their biggest hits are the songs "Hong Kong Garden", "Happy House", "Christine", "Spellbound", "Cities in Dust", "Peek-a-Boo" and "Kiss Them for Me".
