The Meiritsu Racing Team was a Japanese team created by Kunimitsu Takahashi to compete in the 1977 Japanese Grand Prix Formula 1. Note: Kunimitsu Takahashi is considered the creator of drifting, having developed the technique in the 1970s in Japan.
